    The drum is fabricated by bending and welding ordinary medium-thick steel plates. The rolling rings are integrally forged from low-carbon steel. The drum and rolling rings are fixed and adjusted by means of adjusting plates. This structure uses four jacking screws and two tension screws on the adjusting plates for fixation and adjustment. Thrust wheels are installed on both rolling rings to prevent the drum from drifting to one side. The drum is driven by a large ring gear connected via a flange, which facilitates easy replacement. The large gear is driven by a pinion from the transmission mechanism, enabling the overall rotation of the drum.

    Working Principle

    The rotary drum mixer consists of the drum, rolling rings, large gear, pinion, supporting idlers, thrust wheels, transmission device, feeder, and discharger. The mixer drum is installed at a 3° incline. A complete base frame is provided beneath the rotary drum mixer, with all components connected together on the same horizontal plane.
    The material is fed into the drum feeder by a belt conveyor. The feeder then directs the material into the drum inlet via a chute. The inlet is equipped with reasonably distributed guide plates, allowing the material to quickly enter the drum. Inside the drum, uniformly distributed lifting plates cause the material to be lifted, dropped, moved forward, and uniformly mixed.
    The material moves upward with the rotation of the drum. When it reaches a certain height, it falls back down due to its own weight and moves axially along the inclined direction of the drum. During each cycle of lifting and dropping, the material particles follow different motion trajectories. After multiple lifts and drops, the material achieves thorough mixing and is finally discharged through the discharger.
