Product Information
A dewatering screen is a screening device that utilizes vibratory excitation to achieve solid-liquid separation of slurry materials. It is primarily used to remove moisture from wet-processed materials (such as tailings, coal slime, or sand and gravel), reducing the moisture content of solid materials to levels suitable for transportation or stockpiling. It is a key dewatering component in mineral processing, coal preparation, sand making, and sand washing production lines.
Working Principle
Two motors drive the exciters to rotate synchronously in opposite directions, producing a linear excitation force at a certain angle to the screen surface. Material enters the screen surface from the feed end and is propelled in a jumping, throwing motion under the excitation force. During this motion, water passes through the screen slots under combined gravity and vibration, becoming undersize (effluent), while solid particles are retained and conveyed forward to the discharge end as a cake-like dewatered product.
