Product Information
This equipment is primarily suitable for the following applications: In stone material yards, for separating large and small stones, soil, and stone powder; In sand and gravel yards, for the separation of sand and gravel; In the coal industry, for separating lump coal from coal fines and as an integral component of coal washing machinery; In the chemical and mineral processing industries, for classifying large and small lump materials and separating powdery substances.
Working Principle
The drum screen is primarily composed of an electric motor, a reducer, a drum assembly, a frame, a sealing cover, and inlet and outlet ports. The drum assembly is installed on the frame at an inclined angle.
The electric motor is connected to the drum assembly via the reducer through a coupling, driving the drum assembly to rotate around its axis. As the material enters the drum assembly, the combined effects of the drum's inclination and rotation cause the material on the screen surface to tumble and roll. This action allows the qualified material (undersize product) to be discharged through the outlet at the lower rear end of the drum, while the unqualified material (oversize product) is discharged through the outlet at the rear end of the drum. The tumbling and rolling action of the material inside the drum helps to dislodge any particles stuck in the screen mesh, thereby preventing screen clogging.Technical Parameter
