The briquetting press machine is primarily used to directly cold-press metal raw materials such as cast iron chips, steel chips, copper chips, aluminum chips, and high-grade mineral powders into conical or other shaped briquettes weighing 3–6 kg each. This process facilitates storage and transportation while reducing material loss during handling and smelting in the recycling and reuse process.
Working Principle
For iron powder compressed by the automatic briquetting machine, the briquettes can be directly loaded into cans and smelted into sponge iron. Compared with traditional manual can loading, this process offers advantages such as higher output, faster reduction speed, energy savings, and extended service life of the refractory cans.
