Product Information
The sawdust machine, also known as a wood chip crusher or sawdust pulverizer, is an ideal piece of equipment for processing wood, branches, fruit wood, and other raw materials into fine sawdust or wood chips. It is widely used in the production of edible mushroom cultivation substrates, biomass fuel preparation, artificial board manufacturing, and papermaking raw material pretreatment.
Working Principle
Raw materials such as wood, branches, and fruit wood enter the crushing chamber through the inlet. The inlet size varies by model to ensure smooth feeding. The motor drives the cutter disc to rotate at high speed. Blades mounted on the disc cut, impact, and tear the raw
material at high speed. The material is repeatedly sheared and crushed between the rotating blades and fixed counter-blades, gradually forming fine particles. The crushed material is thrown toward the screen mesh by centrifugal force. The screen mesh
aperture determines the final particle size. Material that meets the size requirement passes through the screen into the discharge chamber, while oversized material remains in the crushing chamber for further processing. Some models are equipped with a fan or use a pneumatic conveying system to blow the screened sawdust through pipelines to a collection point or storage silo, enabling continuous production.Performance Characteristics
