Product Information
The rotary dryer is suitable for drying metallic and non-metallic minerals, as well as clay for the cement industry and coal slime for the coal mining industry. The rotary dryer features strong adaptability to materials, capable of drying various types of materials, with simple and reliable operation.
Working Principle
The material is fed into the hopper by a belt conveyor or a bucket elevator. The drum is installed at a slight incline to the horizontal line. The material enters from the higher end, while the heating medium enters from the lower end, coming into countercurrent contact with the material. As the drum rotates, the material moves toward the lower end under the action of gravity. Lifting plates are installed on the inner wall of the drum, which throw and scatter the material, increasing the contact area between the material and the airflow to improve drying efficiency and facilitate the forward movement of the material.
